This is your essential “get-ready-for-school” session. Join students from your academic college and major for events and experiences throughout the day that help you connect to your new academic home at OSU.

A portion of the College Connection session will be the Academics @ OSU Panel, where you’ll get to hear directly from OSU faculty. They’ll share their expectations, advice, and strategies for success in the college classroom. Part of the panel will include time for you and your peers to ask the faculty your own burning questions, too, and then following the panel you’ll have a chance to debrief what you heard with your peers and the session moderator, to learn about resources available to you on OSU’s campus, and to plan for success in the upcoming year.

In addition to the Academics @ OSU Panel, your college will have its own welcome/orientation program, with events specifically designed to help you meet other students and get connected to faculty and opportunities in your college right from the start. Be sure to check your college’s schedule specifically for details.
